Just as a kaleidoscope creates intricate and ever-changing patterns from different shapes and colors, speech-language therapy involves blending various techniques and approaches to address the unique needs of each child.
My name is Staci Flanagan and I am a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who has been working with children and adults with speech and language disorders since 2012. I have spent an extensive amount of time working with children who have complex communication needs. I graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Modern and Classical Language and a Masters of Arts Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
I have completed training in orofacial myofunctional disorders, tethered oral tissues (TOTs), Apraxia of speech, and Beckman Oral Motor therapy. Other areas of experience include Autism Spectrum Disorder, social pragmatic language, oral placement therapy, and articulation/phonological disorders.
I received the American Speech Language Hearing Association’s ACE award for continuing education in 2020 and 2022. I truly enjoy working with families to provide the best therapy techniques and strategies to help their children become successful communicators.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two grown children Chase and Ella, my husband Steve, and our fur babies Otis and Mabel. I love watching the KC Royals and KC Chiefs!
